I agee in premise with you, if the American consumer would demanded US manufactured products from retailers they would be forced to respond. However, we are hypocrites we demand low prices in all products we buy whether its textiles, cars, TV's, etc and then we get angry because these manufacturing jobs have gone overseas. The other part of this equation is that we complain about "corporate greed" but yet the majority of Americans own mutual funds or are part of pension funds (hello union members) that do not leverage their investment position to demand that the companys they own stock in create and protect American jobs. In conclusion we want low prices on consumer goods, want hi paying jobs and want our mutual funds to perform at a double digit rate...can you say HYPOCRISY!!!!
